Coronavirus Disease Response Initiative

Metropolitan Ministries

Metropolitan Ministries is providing “Essential Services” for families living with us and those we serve in the community as we operate differently in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local and state officials in the wake of COVID-19.

25 Meal Locations are open with to-go style meals and CDC precautions are in place. (Two larger locations are still hot meals).

At our Tampa and Holiday (Pasco) Family Support Centers we have moved to a drive-up service model, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, handing out pre-made, nonperishable food boxes and hygiene kits–if supplies last.

We are temporarily not able to accept walk-ins for emergency shelter. However, if you need emergency shelter or have questions related to the process, email [email protected] or call (813) 209-1222. You can begin the process by completing the intake packet (download) and email back to us along with these required documents (view list) to [email protected]. Please include your first and last name, date of birth, email address and phone number, and the best time to reach you.

The Metro BrigAIDe mobile street team is still serving in the field with added precautions in Hillsborough County.
