COVID-19 Response

Today we would have been walking on the beach to raise funds for Cornerstone Family Ministries’ early childhood scholarship program. Three of Cornerstone’s Wonder Walk events were canceled due to the COVID19 pandemic.

Yet Childcare centers are as essential during the pandemic as they will be as our economy bounces back and young families go back to work. Yet the National Association for the Education of Young Children estimates 50% of childcare centers will go out of business during this time. 

As the sponsor of 150+ Early Learning Centers, we already see this happening . Cornerstone’s Rosa Valdez Center has been in the Tampa Bay community for 127 years serving the neediest working families in our community as they earn and learn their way out of poverty-we need your help to keep it open for the children who need us.
