COVID-19 Update and needs

The girls are doing very well despite being confined to the property.

What is happening at Brookwood during this corona virus crisis?

• We have limited visits to just those required to run our
daily business.
• We are carefully screening anyone that would be
allowed in the building.
• Girls are not allowed to leave the premises without a staff
member to ensure that social distancing is practiced and
that hands are washed frequently.
• All areas are being sanitized throughout the day.
• School will be done virtually. All the girls will have
laptops and will be participating in online schooling.
• Staff has been asked to not come to work if not feeling
well.
• Procedures are in place for quarantine for any girl
showing symptoms.

We are in the process of purchasing a kickball, chalk, art supplies, volleyball net, slip’n slide, dodge balls, puzzles. We got a karaoke machine! THIS is something the girls would love.

We have the girls coming up with meals that they would like to help cook and are going to do some cooking and baking classes. We are having talent shows and giving out prizes – so any gift cards as prizes would be much appreciated.
