FCAN Foundation and its sister organization, the Florida Consumer Action Network (FCAN) were started in 1984 and are an important and vocal part of Tampa Bay. the voice of consumers on a range of issues like clean water for residents near the Taylor Road Landfill, a Superfund site, renewal of the Clean Air Act and the Clean Water Act, Florida Amnesty Day’s Household Toxic Waste Collection program, the Hillsborough Half-Cent for Health Care, Health Care for America Now, Opposing the Iraq War, lowering insurance rates, and a host of other causes.

Right now, FCAN’s voice is threatened because COVID-19 is damaging the economy and that directly impacts FCAN and FCAN Foundation. FCAN needs your support to keep staff employed and to keep fighting for the many causes you’ve supported over the years. Thank you!
