At Best Buddies, Inclusion isn’t canceled – it’s evolving. Best Buddies is rapidly adapting to serve our community in new ways; ensuring supportive friendships and employment opportunities are still available to people with IDD. Now more than ever, it is our supporters and volunteers that will empower us to keep going!  Become a Virtual Volunteer, and help our participants receive training and keep connected with their community during the COVID19 pandemic. We have many ways for you to volunteer virtually, such as:

Host a virtual chapter or citizens activity, share your special talents with our participants in an interactive virtual event (Trivia, virtual arts and crafts, share your favorite recipe in an interactive cooking segment, lead a virtual yoga class, host a virtual field trip- the possibilities are endless)

Participate in a Mini Ambassador Workshops by volunteering as a virtual speech coach. Some topics being covered in Ambassador Training “Workshops” include How to keep a routine at home, Communicating with others: virtual etiquette, How to be an advocate on social media, and more.

Provide Virtual support as a volunteer in one of our jobs training and engagement opportunities:
