Academy Prep prides itself on the volunteer efforts of the community. We could not sustain our programs without volunteers. Annually, Academy Prep receives over 9,000 volunteer hours from parents, corporations, non-profits, board members, community members and graduates. Daily volunteer opportunities include study hall assistance from 5:00pm – 6:05pm, math/English tutoring at various times, and playing chess with students (novice to expert chess experience is accommodated, 3:30pm – 4:50pm). Volunteers must be 18 years of age and must be able to commit at least one hour per week. Volunteer opportunities in an enrichment classroom, administrative help, and special event help are solicited as needed.
