Opportunities	Alone This organization provides companionship to the elderly. You can become a telephone volunteer where you call and check-in at least two hours each week. Weekly 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals Virtual, Indoor None Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Love For The Elderly Collects letters you write and sends them to folks who are nursing homes, rehab centers and long-term care facilities. One-time, Occasional, Weekly, Monthly Teens, 21+, 55+, Adults, Child with Adult Individuals, Families Virtual, Indoor None Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends iCouldBe iCouldBe is a student mentorship program where you dedicate one hour each week for the school year to children needing some help with schoolwork. Weekly 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals Virtual, Indoor Formal Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Crisis Text Line Volunteer with the Crisis Text Line as a remote crisis counselor. The organization is asking for volunteers especially between 7 p.m. and 3 a.m. PT. The service includes free training on how to answer texts from people who reach out.
