Our mission	A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to giving skateboards to kids who cannot afford them. We use the gift of skateboarding as a tool to teach perseverance, promote exercise and provide an outlet for personal expression.

Opportunities	Volunteer with Boards for Bros We need people (young, old, skaters, skaters-at-heart) to help us with or skateboard build days and various distribution events. If you like to teach kids how to get started with their boards or you want to help us flip burgers at a distribution party – let us know and plan to attend one of our events. About us	We are skateboarders and caring individuals giving ALL kids a chance to have their very own first skateboard. In 2006 at the Skatepark of Tampa, we started to collect and refurbish skateboards to distribute to youth who could not afford their own. In 2014, we became a 501(c)3 non-profit organization fully committed to providing equipment, safe skate spots and youth mentoring in our community. Additionally, our model empowers skateboarders to participate in community service as a donor, volunteer or project manager.
