| How you help | Venture House currently needs private lead donations in advance of a crowdfunding launch campaign that will match those dollars, working toward seed funding for this initial stage, to identify target properties, negotiate funding structures with private, nonprofit and government entities, and create an application process and screen initial applicants for Venture Houses. |

| About us | Our strategy is to take boarded vacant houses, those in foreclosure and other problem properties, one small cluster of 5-10 houses at a time within a target neighborhood in need of fresh energy, and rehab them (including a big sweat equity contribution) to provide affordably-priced housing for local entrepreneurs who will commit to live there and create jobs in our City and be involved in their community. Venture House is already planning additional targeted program pipelines to support artists, which are such a vital cultural and economic driver for the City; and public service employees like police, fire, nurses and teachers. These programs will feed into the same housing/funding pool. |
