| Items we need now | Warehouse/Storage Space for Foster ItemsWe, along with a couple of our partner organizations, are in great need of storage space for collected items for kids who have been removed, or at risk of being removed, from their home.Ideally, this space would be a retail or warehouse space at least 2,000 sq ft but significantly more could be used if available. Our office is located in Temple Terrace, so proximity to that area would be beneficial but not required.Depending on the location type and size, this space would host a foster closet, storage for donated toys for the holidays, and birthday celebration items.Thank you in advance for any donated space or referring this need to someone who may be able to help!Toys for Holiday PresentsEvery year, there are hundreds of kids who are removed from their home right before Christmas due to neglect or abuse.There are multiple amazing organizations around Tampa Bay that provide presents for those removed early enough to be included in their distributions but they are not able to provide gifts for the kids removed right before Christmas.We are collecting toys throughout the year to be available to kids who enter foster care close to Christmas so that no child has to experience additional disappointment.Please consider giving a new toy or donation to provide a child with hope this Christmas. Gifts for teens are especially welcomed as teens are often not chosen when for other Christmas shopping programs. |

| About us | Foster Guardian was founded in 2018 by two foster parents who realized early on in their journey the great disparity between the number of children who needed homes and the number of homes available for those children. There simply weren’t enough homes. Over the last 2 years, Foster Guardian’s goal has remained a simple one: to create homes for every orphan. We consider orphans to be any child who does not have a Safe, Loving, and Permanent home. |
