Our mission	Our mission is to empower all women by fostering the skills and resources needed to obtain self-sufficiency in finances, mental/emotional wellness, and the cultivation of relationships. We envision a world without judgment in which women are empowered, uplifted, and equal partners in society.

Opportunities	Front Desk Stand-In Be the face that welcomes our clients into our community center! This position will be needed on days that employees will be out in the community. Answer phone calls, file paperwork, and help around the office with simple tasks (organizing, light cleaning, signing for packages, etc.). One-time, Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 21+, Adults Individuals Office work, Indoor None Weekdays HER Run Virtual 5K Volunteer June 5th! Volunteer at our inaugural HER Run Virtual 5K celebration at the EmpowHERment Community Center. Including, but not limited to: handing out water, hosting games, and face-painting. Please note: You will be required to attend a meeting via Zoom before the 5K (meeting date TBD) Please let us know by May 1st if you would like to volunteer! One-time Teens, 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10), Corporate Teams, Families Event support, Outdoor None, On-site Weekends Painting and Healing Teacher Artists! Teach a painting class with a soothing and comfortable atmosphere. Every Tuesday, 6 – 7:30 pm. Not required every week; willing to have multiple teachers to fit varying schedules. Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Skilled Weekdays, Evenings Organization Specialist Help us organize our Community Hygiene Pantry! We are constantly giving out our inventory and receiving new donations. Help keep it beautiful! One-time, Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10) Physical, Indoor None, On-site Weekdays, Weekends

How you help	We offer advocacy services, including financial assistance, self-sufficiency counseling, employment assistance, and mental health support. We host workshops such as financial literacy and “Painting and Healing,” and a single mother support group. We also have a free community hygiene pantry and hold annual holiday gift drives!

About us	The EmpowHERment Community Center is an all-inclusive, grassroots-operated space that encourages women to reach their full potential through education, communal support, and individual advocacy. With help from generous supporters like you, we can continue to build the social infrastructure in our community and enhance our neighbors’ well-being.
