About us | Founded in 1977, the Pinellas County Urban League is the premier social service and civil rights organization in Pinellas County, Florida. Under the leadership of Watson L. Haynes, II, President/CEO, and guidance of a 25-member Board of Directors, the Pinellas County Urban League has a 5-Year Strategic Vision to: Expand services and programs to the Tampa Bay Area; Be a catalyst for community revitalization through housing and training programs; Increase the graduation rate of African Americans; Train and develop entrepreneurs; Grow small and minority businesses; Expand and create new youth development, education and career training opportunities; and Support the reduction of crime through collaboration. |
