About us | RCS Pinellas (RCS) is a registered 501(c) (3) organization that has addressed the needs of the hungry and homeless of Pinellas County since its inception in 1967. The organization was founded by 15 congregations of diverse faiths as a means to create solutions for the increasing need for social services in the community. The mission of providing help and hope to the hungry and homeless is advanced through the organization’s five distinct but integrated programs: RCS Food Bank, RCS Grace House (Family Homeless Shelter), The Haven at RCS Domestic Violence shelter, RCS Affordable Housing, and Basic Needs. These programs operate in over 60,000 square feet of service space and serve over 130,000 guests annually. |
